3rd Annual Sara Mulroy Spinal Cord Injury Symposium

Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center has a storied history as a nationally-funded spinal cord injury (SCI) Model System Center, with expertise in the clinical management of persons with spinal cord injury. The 3rd Annual Sara Mulroy SCI Symposium will be a one-day conference revolving around the theme: Aging with SCI. Didactic lectures and panel discussions will be utilized to provide a comprehensive approach to understanding and supporting individuals living with SCI as they age. A wide array of topics will be covered including nutrition, exercise, assistive technologies, environment modifications, mobility considerations, bowel & bladder management, skin care, and social networks. New for this year, there will also be an opportunity to network as part of an evening dinner/social following the program, free of charge. Continuing Education Credits for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Nursing are pending.
